Simple Style — Tropics Edition
I’m probably not the person to ask for contouring tips or runway trends. These days, I live on a boat in the tropics, and my beauty routine reflects that beautifully simple lifestyle.
Makeup? Not really.
It’s sunscreen (non-negotiable under this sun!) and a swipe of lip gloss. That’s it. Salt air and sunshine tend to do their own thing anyway.
Hair?
Usually pulled up, twisted into a messy bun, or tucked into a braid to keep it from whipping across my face while we’re underway. Practical can still be pretty.
Fashion?
I wouldn’t call myself a fashion connoisseur, but I do love a good sundress. There’s something about slipping one on before heading ashore that feels effortless and feminine. Add a pair of cute sandals, and I’m ready for dinner by the marina or wandering a new island town.
For me, style isn’t about trends — it’s about feeling comfortable in the season of life you’re in. Right now, that season involves sun, saltwater, and stories.
And honestly? That’s more than enough for me. :)
